The Dow Chemical Company is seeking a Global Turnaround Scheduler SME in the Gulf Coast region, based around Freeport (TX, USA). The role provides global scheduling expertise for Front-End Loading and execution with a $900MM annual spend.

The position partners with site turnaround teams and leadership to ensure adherence to global processes, readiness reviews, and performance oversight. A bachelor's degree plus 5 years in turnaround is preferred, with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 5 years experience or 10 years in turnaround execution and controls.
• Deep knowledge of Primavera, Scheduling software and turnaround work processes.
• Experience as master scheduler in a major turnaround preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern Dow's global turnaround scheduling operating discipline.
• Provide scheduling leadership to turnaround teams for major events ($30MM+).
• Assess turnaround compliance, readiness, and health across FEL and execution.
• Lead readiness reviews, challenge sessions, and gate reviews.
• Develop recommendations to address readiness deficiencies and risk.
• Own the global scheduler qualification curriculum and training.
• Lead global scheduler networks and share best practices.
• Monitor performance and enable decisions supporting safety, cost, and schedule.
• Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and AI-enabled solutions to advance scheduling.
