Job summary

FieldCore Service Solutions LLC in Houston, TX, seeks a Technical Field Instructor III to deliver on-site training for customer-owned power plants, covering turbine maintenance, operations, and generator systems. The role trains engineers to operate confidently and independently and supports OEM training initiatives.

You will design and deliver gas, steam, and combined cycle training, manage class materials and budgets, and travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in a related occupation.
• 2+ years of technical instructor experience.
• 2+ years experience with excitation, controls or mechanical operation and control philosophies.
• 50% travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical training to customer-owned power plants and turbines.
• Lead OEM training on gas, steam and combined cycle operations.
• Design, develop and deliver turbine maintenance and operations training.
• Manage training budgets, class materials and costs.
• Travel to customer sites; work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Maintain turbine modules and ensure quality control for training materials.
