JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Chicago seeks a Vice President to join the Trusts and Estates Tax Operations team.

You will partner with global colleagues to review tax policies, advise on CRS and FATCA, and support multi-jurisdictional tax filings for US Private Bank clients. This role emphasizes automation and process improvement using tools, including LLMs, to streamline reporting while maintaining strong controls.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant tax experience at a Big 4 public accounting firm, law firm or corporate fiduciary
• Experience supporting AEOI Information Reporting
• Understanding of Form W-8, Form W-9, and CRS Self-Certification
• Strong written and verbal communication with junior and senior stakeholders
• Deep knowledge of international tax filings and regulatory changes
• Experience with US tax reporting for foreign trusts
• Proficiency in MS Office; openness to learning new systems

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for Automatic Exchange of Information (AEOI) and fiduciary tax matters
• Support global trust teams on tax matters including CRS, FATCA, Economic Substance Reporting, Beneficial Ownership Reporting, International Tax obligations and Non-US Tax Reporting
• Prepare and present substantive tax training to the Trusts and Estates practice
• Partner with team members to review and support preparation of various tax forms for several non-US jurisdictions
• Review governing documents to ensure tax attributes are correct
• Identify and execute on automation opportunities
• Manage CRS Tax Profile Process: Oversee creation, maintenance, and validation of CRS Tax Profiles
• Lead CRS Indicia Cure Process: management of CRS Indicia tickets
• Enhance Tax Compliance Procedures: identify opportunities for process improvements and lead transformation projects
• Monitor Regulatory Changes: stay informed of changes in AEOI and International Tax regulations
