Job summary

Vital Strategies seeks a Global Security and Travel Operations Associate to join our New York office on a full-time basis. This early-career role coordinates travel operations, duty of care, vendor management, and financial administration to keep global programs running smoothly as teams travel worldwide.

The position offers exposure to international operations and cross-functional collaboration. You'll work closely with the Deputy Director, Global Safety, Security & Travel, and Operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2+ years in operations, travel, or logistics
• Experience in international programs or NGOs is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving and process improvement
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural collaboration
• Proficiency with MS Office and SharePoint

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administration of the global travel program.
• Assist duty of care responsibilities and travel data tracking.
• Coordinate itinerary tracking and maintain records.
• Provide after-hours support during significant travel movements.
• Analyze travel spend and prepare dashboards for decisions.
• Perform monthly reconciliation and coordinate with travelers and vendors.
• Process travel program invoices and flag discrepancies.
• Support onboarding and SOP updates.
• Contribute to process improvements and traveler experience.
