Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company seeks a Traveling Project Manager- Aviation to lead complex aviation construction initiatives across the United States. You will drive safety culture, coordinate with owners, architects, and subcontractors, and manage preconstruction, buyout, and submittals to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

The role reports into the National Aviation Vertical and requires travel about 75% of the time.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
In lieu of above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
7+ years construction management experience.

Responsibilities

Leads all aspects of safety culture and ensures an injury-free environment through leadership and mentoring.
Manages the prestart checklist form and interfaces with the preconstruction team.
Coordinates with logistics, risk management, owners, and subcontractors to ensure scope, pricing and schedule alignment.
Leads buyout scheduling, verifies pricing, and manages subcontractor selection and changes.
Manages submittal scheduling and approvals, shop drawings, and samples.
Leads project meetings and closeout activities, and tracks budget and revenue performance.
