Job summary

Gexpro Services is seeking a Vertical Sourcing Leader to develop and drive the transportation commodity strategy globally. You will collaborate with Sourcing Management, commodity leaders, supplier development, and buyers to improve sales revenue, profitability, risk mitigation, and supplier performance.

Responsibilities include executing the strategy, negotiating terms, and driving supplier development across regions.

Qualifications

Excel and Word proficiency required for creating reports and sharing updates.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills to partner with stakeholders.
Strong analytical and reporting skills to drive improvements.
Experience negotiating supplier agreements and managing contract costs.
Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing/procurement/supply chain.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the commodity strategy for Transportation vertical, annual volume ~ $30MM.
Drive cost reduction via best cost country, vendor rationalization, and supplier development.
Build strategic supplier relationships to meet cost and localization targets.
Improve cash flow through inventory optimization and extended terms.
Collaborate with DSG units to leverage total spend and supplier networks.
Support new program implementations and supplier selection with cross-functional teams.
