Job summary

Gexpro Services seeks a Vertical Sourcing Leader - Transportation to develop and drive the global commodity strategy for transport-related components. You will collaborate with Sourcing Management, Commodity Leaders, Supplier Development, and Buyers to optimize revenue, profitability and risk mitigation.

You will lead supplier negotiations, manage contracts, and work with cross-functional teams to improve cash flow and supplier performance while ensuring alignment with global procurement goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Sourcing / Supply Chain / Procurement.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel; able to present via email/phone/web.
• Experience negotiating supplier agreements and managing contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the transportation commodity strategy with global scope.
• Drive cost reduction via supplier negotiations, development and long-term agreements.
• Build strategic supplier relationships and manage complex contracts.
• Collaborate across DSG units to optimize total spend and cash flow.
• Identify opportunities to improve working capital and on-time delivery.
• Support new program implementations and supplier selections.
• Analyze market conditions and communicate impacts to field teams.
