Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to support daily North America transportation operations within the GTL team. You will schedule palletized freight and small parcel shipments, track in transit, and resolve exceptions to uphold customer promises.

This role partners with carriers, customer service, and RAD Operations shipping teams to optimize service levels, control costs, and ensure timely deliveries in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of transportation and supply chain experience.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand for long shifts.
• Work 40 hours/week; overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate both LTL/FTL palletized shipments and small parcel packages across North America.
• Track shipments in transit and resolve exceptions to meet delivery commitments.
• Communicate with carriers and internal teams to align capacity and service levels.
• Investigate shipment inquiries, file freight claims, and support shipment investigations.
