Job summary

Brink's Global Services USA, Inc. in New York seeks a Customer Care Transportation Coordinator to manage hands-on customer care operations for domestic and international shipments.

The role alternates between Springfield Gardens, NY and the NYC metro area, with an hourly rate of $23–$27 and responsibilities including routing, brokerage support, and compliance with IATA and customs rules. This position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork to maintain high service levels

Qualifications

• Min 3 years in customer service with logistics focus.
• Min 3 years using MS Office and Windows.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Ability to work weekends/holidays/extended hours.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced commodities dept for air freight forwarder.
• 3+ years servicing customers in transportation/logistics role.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and emails from internal customers and branches.
• Coordinate day-to-day transportation shipments for all lines of business.
• Provide shipment updates, ETAs, and PODs to internal teams.
• Research delays with brokerage, import and export teams.
• Collaborate with JFK operations for routing and storage materials.
• Ensure IATA and US Customs documentation accuracy.
• Maintain logs and reports and uphold service quality.
