Job summary

Expeditors in Wisconsin is seeking a Full-time Logistics Coordinator to manage freight flow, data entry, and shipment coordination. The role supports customers and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and accurate billing while adhering to company procedures and KPI targets.

Typical work hours include Monday and Friday 9am–6pm, Saturday and Sunday 6am–7pm, with Tuesday through Thursday off; involvement in data systems and compliance is essential, with growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training
• Understanding of ocean documentation process a plus
• Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills
• Hazardous Materials certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
• Track and Trace Transcon files and reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing
• Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable
• Interact with customers in arranging their shipments to meet customers service standards
• Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliers
• Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy
• Understand customers procedures and maintain updated internal DLSOPs
