Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Senior Director for our GTA practice to lead data-enabled due diligence and performance improvement engagements across manufacturing, healthcare, software, and more. You will manage cross-functional teams, mentor staff, and contribute to new business opportunities.

The role requires 10+ years in data analytics or transaction services, strong M&A knowledge, and a proven leadership track.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in data analytics or transaction services.
Buy-side/vendor due diligence experience across industries preferred.
Understanding of M&A/PE investment lifecycle preferred.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Admin, Stats, IS, or related field.
Experience with data extraction, manipulation, analytics, and visualization approaches.
Strong hands-on data analytics background.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts concisely.
Exceptional project management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Flexible to work in team or individually in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

Lead numerous client engagements across industries.
Manage and prioritize team responsibilities across multiple deals.
Collaborate across stakeholders to ensure cohesive delivery.
Counsel and mentor junior team members to grow technical skills.
Recruit, train, and develop junior staff and teach trainings.
Manage day-to-day client interactions and relationships highlighting A&M capabilities.
Contribute to sales pursuits and generate new client business.
Expand market share and non-TAG purchases within clients and funds.
