Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in Greenwood Village, CO seeks a Senior Director to lead data analytics and transaction services across industries. You will oversee pre‑acquisition due diligence and post‑acquisition performance improvements, guiding client engagements and mentoring staff.

The role requires 10+ years in the field, strong M&A knowledge, and a hands-on analytics background with Excel, SQL, Alteryx, and Tableau proficiency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data analytics or transaction services.
• Buy-side/vendor due diligence experience across industries preferred.
• Understanding of M&A/PE investment lifecycle preferred.
• Degrees in accounting, business, statistics, information systems or related field.
• Strong technical background with hands-on data analytics experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead numerous client engagements.
• Manage and prioritize team responsibilities and consult with senior members across multiple deals.
• Work cohesively across stakeholders.
• Mentor junior members, developing the team’s technical acumen.
• Recruit, train, and develop junior staff, including teaching training classes.
• Manage client interactions and relationships, highlighting A&M’s capabilities.
• Contribute to sales pursuits and expand existing client relationships.
• Identify referrals and pursue new client opportunities.
• Manage engagement risk and issues.
