Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is a global consulting firm seeking an Associate in Global Transaction Analytics (GTA) to join our Houston presence. You will support private equity and corporate clients with data-driven insights across the transaction lifecycle, from pre-deal to post-deal analysis, leveraging advanced analytics and BI tools.

The role involves working with our GTA practice to extract value from data, perform due diligence, and deliver actionable recommendations while mentoring junior team

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in data analytics or transaction services.
• Buy-side/vendor due diligence experience across industries preferred
• Understanding of M&A / PE investment lifecycle preferred
• Understanding of data extraction, manipulation, analytics and visualization approaches
• Strong technical background with hands-on data analytics experience
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear but concise manner
• Exceptional project management skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with numerous client engagements
• Extract insights from data sets and trends by utilizing different tools and techniques
• Effectively facilitate day-to-day client interaction and relationships
• Work cohesively and collaboratively across stakeholders
• Counsel and mentor junior members of the team and continue to develop the team’s technical acumen
