Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking an Associate for Global Transaction Analytics to join our GTA practice. You will work on data-enabled financial and operational analytics across the investment lifecycle from pre-deal to post-deal analysis, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in data analytics or transaction services.
• Experience in buy-side/vendor due diligence and M&A/PE lifecycle preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Information Systems or related field.
• Strong technical background with hands-on data analytics experience; Excel, SQL, Alteryx, Tableau or BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with numerous client engagements.
• Extract insights from data sets and trends using different tools.
• Facilitate day-to-day client interaction and relationships.
• Work cohesively across stakeholders.
• Counsel and mentor junior team members and develop the team’s technical acumen.
