Our client, a leading international law firm, seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Washington, DC International Trade Practice Group. The role focuses on advising clients on complex trade remedies, sanctions, export controls, and regulatory compliance in cross-border matters.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of substantive international trade experience, a JD from a top-tier law school, and an active DC bar license. Hybrid work arrangement in Washington, DC, with a collaborative, senior team.

Qualifikationen

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Washington, DC, in good standing.
• 2–4 years of substantive international trade experience.
• Experience counseling clients on US international trade regulatory issues.
• Experience with trade remedy matters (AD/CVD).
• Experience litigating before the U.S. Court of International Trade and other tribunals.
• Experience advising on OFAC sanctions and EAR/BIS export controls.

Aufgaben

• Advise clients on international trade and regulatory compliance matters.
• Counsel clients on U.S. trade remedy laws, including AD/CVD proceedings.
• Represent clients before government agencies and the U.S. Court of International Trade.
• Provide strategic guidance on sanctions, export controls, and cross-border requirements.
• Develop and assess compliance programs for international trade regulations.
• Monitor developments in trade policy and enforcement that affect clients.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas on complex matters.
