Our client, a leading international law firm with a Washington, DC office, seeks an Associate Attorney for its International Trade Practice Group. The role focuses on complex trade remedies, sanctions, export controls, and compliance matters, offering exposure to high-profile cross-border matters.

The ideal candidate will have a JD from a top-tier law school, DC bar admission in good standing, 2–4 years of substantive international trade experience, and strong research, written and verbal

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Washington, DC, in good standing.
• 2–4 years of substantive international trade experience.
• Experience counseling on U.S. international trade regulatory issues.
• Experience with trade remedy matters (AD/CVD) and BIS/EAR matters.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on international trade and regulatory compliance matters.
• Counsel on U.S. trade remedy laws, AD/CVD proceedings, and enforcement.
• Represent clients before U.S. trade agencies and the U.S. Court of International Trade.
• Provide strategic advice on economic sanctions and export controls.
• Develop and monitor compliance programs related to trade regulations.
• Collaborate with partners across practice areas on cross-border matters.
