Trinity Glass International Inc in Federal Way, WA is seeking an entry-level Import/Export & Procurement Specialist to support international logistics, customs compliance and procurement with mentorship from senior team members. This role offers exposure to end-to-end supply chain processes and a pathway to grow within the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field preferred, OR equivalent.
• 0–2 years of experience in import/export, procurement, or supply chain operations; internships welcomed.
• Basic knowledge of international shipping, customs regulations, and import/export documentation, with a willingness to learn.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international import and export shipments.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and international trade requirements.
• Prepare and review shipping and customs documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, HTS classifications, and certificates of origin.
• Work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Track shipments and proactively resolve transportation or customs issues.
• Support procurement activities, including creating purchase orders, expediting orders, maintaining supplier communications, and monitoring inventory levels.
• Serve as a backup for the Procurement team during absences or periods of high workload.
• Maintain accurate records within the ERP system.
• Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
• Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders on shipment status, delays, and documentation needs.
• Assist with tariff classification research and duty drawback documentation as needed.
