Lynden Logistics in SeaTac, WA seeks an Import/Export Specialist to support our International Operations team. You will manage full-cycle international freight shipments from quoting to invoicing, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient movement of freight worldwide.

This safety-sensitive role requires strong knowledge of freight forwarding, documentation, and relationships with carriers and overseas partners. Monday–Friday schedule with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in international freight forwarding end-to-end handling.
• Strong knowledge of freight documentation and compliance.
• Proficient with MS Excel and business apps.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate air and ocean imports/exports from booking to delivery.
• Prepare quotes for customers, agents, and internal partners.
• Determine routing and transportation solutions based on timelines.
• Process shipping docs and enter shipments across systems.
• Track shipments and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Build relationships with customers, carriers, and overseas partners.
• Ensure compliance with AES, ISF, and customs docs.
• Review profitability and assist with invoicing accuracy.
• Troubleshoot delays with authorities and providers.
