Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) seeks an experienced Empowered Official to join the Global Trade team in Northridge, CA as a Manager 2. You will lead a group of Global Trade professionals and oversee regulatory compliance for ITAR and EAR, ensuring proper license processing and exemptions.

This role focuses on providing guidance on U.S. export controls, preparing export packages, and driving continuous improvement of trade processes.

Qualifications

• Qualifications include ITAR/EAR proficiency and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance.
• Experience leading a team in export compliance.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Global Trade professionals.
• Ensure ITAR/EAR compliance and licensing processes.
• Prepare export authorization packages.
• Advise on regulatory requirements and risk.
• Drive process improvements and metrics.
• Collaborate with Law Department and internal customers.
• Maintain trade compliance records.
