Job summary

HEICO Corporation is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist in Hollywood, FL. The role ensures import/export activities comply with laws and policies across domestic and international subsidiaries, reporting to the Director of Trade Compliance.

Responsibilities cover ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and customs guidance, policy implementation, due diligence for M&A, audits, and monitoring regulatory changes. The position requires a degree and practical trade experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years of experience in domestic and international trade
• Demonstrates the ability to make independent judgements regarding the interpretation and application of U.S. Export Regulations.
• Strong working knowledge of the ITAR, EAR, OFAC, FTSR, S. Customs regulations and practices.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Highly effective interpersonal and organization skills are
• Team player with the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines, manage a high volume of work.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with strong ability to successfully multitask in a time pressured environment.
• The ability to work with team members at all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to domestic and international subsidiaries on ITAR, EAR, Foreign Trade Regulations, OFAC sanctions, Customs, and other applicable U.S. trade compliance requirements.
• Support implementation and maintenance of Corporate Trade Compliance policies, procedures, and best practices across subsidiary locations.
• Provide guidance on Corporate Trade Compliance policies and procedures.
• Trade compliance due diligence related to mergers, acquisitions, and post-acquisition integration activities
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures and all government regulations.
• Monitor changes to trade laws and regulations.
