The candidate will oversee classifications, documentation, licensing, end-use reviews, and internal audits while staying up-to-date with EAR, OFAC, BIS requirements and ITAR

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5+ years in trade compliance, 10+ years preferred for director level.
• Strong expertise in EAR, OFAC, BIS regulations and enforcement.
• End-use and end-user screening, transshipment and diversion risk analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee global trade compliance program.
• Establish policies and internal controls for US/UK/EU and international trade regulations.
• Serve as SME on export controls (EAR, OFAC, BIS).
• Provide strategic guidance to executive leadership on trade compliance risks and business impacts.
• Oversee HS, HTS, Schedule B, ECCN classifications for master database.
• Ensure documentation, valuation, and country of origin determinations for imports.
• Lead internal audits and compliance assessments.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement across the organization.
• Collaborate with Finance and Operations to optimize duty savings.
