Job summary

JTI Liggett is seeking a Customs & International Trade Associate to support the Customs and International Trade Manager with increasing US trade activities. You will handle HTS classification, recordkeeping, CTPAT, and data analysis within the Global Tax function, reporting to the Tax Director Americas.

You will collaborate with the US Customs and International Trade Manager and other stakeholders to ensure compliance while streamlining processes and identifying opportunities to reclaim duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in international business or supply chain required.
• 2+ years of customs & trade compliance experience required; excise taxes knowledge a plus.
• Fluency in English with strong written and oral skills.
• Working knowledge of a global ERP system; SAP FIORI a plus; Excel proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Manage accurate US HTS classification and record retention.
• Support duty drawback process with brokers and prepare/ audit reports.
• Manage Sections 301, 232, and other trade duties where applicable.
• Oversee CTPAT program and ensure supply chain compliance and risk management.
• Stay current on import/export regulations and government initiatives.
