Job summary

BD in the United States seeks a Global Trade Compliance Specialist to ensure compliant, efficient import of products and materials. You will manage HTS classification, PGA data, and broker performance while coordinating with Regulatory Affairs, suppliers, and government agencies.

This role requires 3–5 years in global trade compliance, knowledge of U.S. customs rules, and experience with SAP/GTM. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years in global trade compliance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. customs regulations, HTS classification, and import documentation.
• Experience with SAP and GTM software; Excel proficiency essential.
• Knowledge of FDA/PGAs import requirements and broker management.
• Current or actively pursuing U.S. Customs Broker License.

Responsibilities

• Manage import transactions to ensure timely, compliant clearance.
• Classify products using HTS codes per U.S. Customs rules.
• Coordinate PGA data requirements (FDA, USDA, EPA, etc.).
• Review invoices and documents for compliance; resolve discrepancies.
• Provide clearance instructions to brokers and facilitate release of shipments.
• Monitor broker performance and maintain SOPs; support trade compliance programs.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs and cross-functional teams.
