Job summary

Crane in Houston seeks a Customs Regulatory Compliance Analyst to develop client-specific procedures, assist with classifications for HTS, Schedule B and ECCN research, and support post-entry functions. You will translate CBP requirements for importers, manage multiple priorities with strong organizational and time-management skills, and travel domestically up to 10%.

A Bachelor's degree and at least one year in customs/trade compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/Business or related discipline.
• Minimum 1-year experience and working knowledge on customs and brokerage entry processing.
• Minimum of 1-year work experience relative to trade compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop client-specific procedures for onboarding new clients and procedures.
• Classify merchandise for HTS, Schedule B and ECCN research.
• Assist with post-entry functions: tariff concessions, refunds, duty drawbacks, credits.
• Communicate CBP requirements to importers for clarity on import procedures.
• Manage multiple priorities with strong organizational and time-management skills.
