Job summary

Crane is seeking an experienced Customs Broker in Houston to render HTS classifications for clients and determine ADD/CVD and PGA reporting needs. You will prepare ruling requests to CBP and scope inquiries to USITC as necessary.

The role requires strong research skills, attention to detail, and effective client communication, with a background in regulatory compliance and 5+ years’ experience.

Qualifications

• High School or better for education.
• Licensed US Customs Broker is required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in customs brokerage or regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Render HTS classifications for Crane’s clients using HTS resources and CBP guidance.
• Determine ADD/CVD applicability and PGA entry reporting requirements.
• Prepare and submit binding ruling requests to CBP and scope rulings to USITC as needed.
• Identify eligibility for trade programs and preferential duty benefits.
• Analyze ITRAC data and assist in duty drawback applications.
• Communicate import requirements clearly to clients and maintain organized records.
