Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a Trade Compliance Project Coordinator to drive efficient global movement of goods, focusing on BETS internal customers and maintaining compliance with CBP rules. You will design workflows, engage cross-functional stakeholders, and act as the first line of defense for project risks from start to finish.

You will lead shipping efforts, coordinate with brokers, and ensure prerequisites for shipments are in place while supporting new business initiatives and tracking issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience.
• 5+ years related experience in customs compliance operations, with focus on import operations preferred.
• Understanding of international trade and supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of GRIs, U.S. Customs valuation methodology.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and provide excellent service.
• Lead and coordinate shipping efforts in a fast-paced environment.
• Set up robust import processes with key stakeholders.
• Ensure 100% CBP compliance and manage regulatory submissions.
• Act as main point of contact for key customers and entities.
• Monitor and improve operational metrics and SLAs.
