Job summary

BD is seeking a Global Trade Compliance Specialist to ensure compliant, timely import of products into the United States. You will manage import transactions, HTS classifications, and PGA data, while coordinating with regulatory teams and brokers to optimize trade operations.

The role requires 3–5 years in global trade, strong knowledge of U.S. customs rules, and experience with SAP and GTM. You will collaborate across functions to enhance processes and ensure regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years in global trade compliance, import ops, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, HTS classification, and PGA rules.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and GTM software.

Responsibilities

• Manage import transactions for timely and compliant clearance.
• Classify products with HTS codes per U.S. regulations.
• Coordinate PGA data requirements with FDA/USDA/EPA and others.
• Review invoices and import docs for compliance and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide clearance instructions to customs brokers and facilitate release of shipments.
• Oversee ISF compliance and broker performance; manage broker relationships.
• Support cross‑functional teams to implement standardized import processes.
