Job summary

Gateway Recruiting is seeking an Export Trade Compliance Manager in the United States (New Jersey) to lead the company’s export compliance program, monitor regulatory changes, and update policies. The role will coordinate with stakeholders and drive BIS, OFAC, and ECCN-related activities, including training and documentation.

You will liaise with Legal, IT, Logistics, and other departments, ensuring accurate EEI filings and alignment with UFLPA or other compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of EAR 15 CFR 730-799, FTR 15 CFR 30, OFAC 31 CFR.
• Able to determine ECCN for items and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead export compliance activities by implementing policies and procedures.
• Audit compliance, identify non-compliance, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate BIS inquiries and ECCN determinations.
• Develop and update Export Compliance Manual and training.
• Oversee EEI filings and GTM system enhancements.
• Interface with Legal, IT, Logistics, and other departments.
• Support FTAs and annual solicitation projects.
