BD is seeking an Associate Director of Trade Compliance to lead global import/export governance and strategic initiatives. You will ensure uninterrupted supply chains while adhering to CBP, FDA, and PGA regulations, acting as the internal expert on tariff classification, valuation, and compliance frameworks.

Competenze

• Active U.S. Customs Broker License (LCB) required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Logistics, or related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive international trade compliance experience, with 5+ years in import/export operations.
• Deep knowledge of 19 CFR, HTSUS classification, and Incoterms 2020.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, GTS) and automated filing environments.

• Lead regulatory oversight as Licensed Customs Broker for imports/exports.
• Design and scale trade compliance policies and internal controls.
• Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs and Quality on FDA NoA requirements and PGA duties.
• Oversee HTS classifications, COO markings, and origin certificates.
• Manage brokers, forwarders, and contract manufacturers to optimize clearance times.
• Develop and implement tariff mitigation strategies and FTAs.
• Ensure Maquila/IMMEX compliance where applicable.
• Drive risk management and corrective action plans across functions.
