Job summary

Acuity Inc. in the United States seeks a Global Trade Compliance Manager to lead the company’s import/export compliance program, drive governance, and mitigate regulatory risk through cross-functional collaboration.

You will oversee classification, licensing, sanctions controls, and regulatory programs (BAA, BABA, TAA), develop policies, and monitor metrics; domestic travel is required up to 25% with flexible work location.

Qualifications

• Degree-related background in international business, law, or engineering fields.
• Experience working in global, multi-jurisdictional trade compliance environments.
• Understanding of import/export regulations and sanctions.

Responsibilities

• Support global import/export compliance programs, including classification, licensing, and adherence to export controls and sanctions regulations.
• Collection/Coordination/Tracking of corrective actions from Self-Assessments/Broker corrective actions/Audits.
• Conduct risk assessments and internal audit programs, including remediation and continuous improvement.
• Support regulatory programs: Buy American Act (BAA), Build America, Buy America (BABA), Trade Agreements Act (TAA).
• Develop, implement, and maintain global trade compliance policies, procedures, and training.
