Job summary

Acuity Inc. is actively seeking a Global Trade Compliance Manager to lead the company’s import/export compliance program, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and sanctions.

This role drives strategic initiatives, supports global expansion, and mitigates regulatory risk through governance, due diligence, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate holds a degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Law, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience,

Qualifications

• Support global import/export compliance programs, including classification, licensing, and adherence to export controls and sanctions regulations
• Collection/Coordination/ Tracking of the corrective actions from Self-Assessments/Broker corrective actions/Audits.
• Conduct risk assessments and internal audit programs (classification, valuation, country of origin, ACE filings, BIS/export controls), including remediation and continuous improvement efforts.
• Support and ensure compliance with regulatory programs including BAA (Buy American Act), BABA (Build America, Buy America), TAA (Trade Agreements Act), and similar requirements under the Trade Ops.
• Develop, implement, and maintain global trade compliance policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Manage and analyze trade compliance metrics, CTPAT, and data trends to monitor program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist and manage global import/export compliance programs, including classification, licensing, and export controls.
• Coordinate corrective actions from Self-Assessments, Broker actions, and Audits.
• Conduct risk assessments and internal audits (classification, valuation, country of origin, ACE filings, BIS/export controls) and drive remediation.
• Support regulatory programs such as BAA, BABA, and TAA in Trade Ops.
• Develop and maintain global trade compliance policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Monitor metrics, CTPAT, and data trends to improve program effectiveness.
