Job summary

Navia is seeking a Trade Compliance Manager to lead classification, data management, and customs clearance activities. You will guide the team, coordinate with FDA, USDA, and Fish & Wildlife, and monitor filings to ensure compliance and timely shipments.

You will report to the Director of Customs and Trade Compliance and work closely with client teams to optimize classifications and reduce duties while maintaining regulatory rigor.

Qualifications

• 10 years of professional experience in customs and trade compliance.
• US Customs Broker License.
• Experience with FDA, Fish and Wildlife, and USDA data sets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain Management; JD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Classify goods and build client product databases.
• File post summary corrections and recover duties for clients.
• Prepare FDA product codes and maintain FDA data sets.
• Coordinate filings with FDA, USDA, and Fish & Wildlife.
• Lead and oversee the compliance team.
