Job summary

Navia is seeking a Customs Entry Writer to join our team. You will analyze shipment documents to extract data for customs entry, input data into the system, and secure necessary clearances.

You will collaborate with forwarding partners, PGAs, and USCBP to ensure accurate and timely processing and communication of clearance status. You will also assist with payment coordination when Navia is not the forwarder.

Qualifications

• High School with experience or a Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of professional experience or related training.
• Experience in organization, planning, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Analyze shipment documents to extract data for customs entry.
• Enter data into the system and obtain necessary clearances.
• Communicate clearance status with clients and forwarders.
• Coordinate with PGAs and USCBP as needed for clearances.
• Ensure timely delivery and coordinate payment processes when Navia is not the forwarder.
