  • Manage trade preference programs, duty drawback, permits, and licenses.
  • Support daily import/export clearance and ensure accurate ISF filings.
  • Conduct pre‑ and post‑entry audits; manage Post Entry Amendments and PSCs.
  • Respond to government inquiries and maintain compliant recordkeeping.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a Trade Compliance Manager to lead U.S. import/export compliance while supporting global trade activities. This role ensures accurate classifications, regulatory adherence, and the compliant movement of goods across regions. The position serves as our in‑house expert on Customs and trade regulations.

YOUR ROLE
  • Oversee tariff classification, country of origin, ECCN, and Customs valuation.
  • Manage trade preference programs, duty drawback, permits, and licenses.
  • Support daily import/export clearance and ensure accurate ISF filings.
  • Conduct pre‑ and post‑entry audits; manage Post Entry Amendments and PSCs.
  • Oversee brokers, freight forwarders, and LSP performance.
  • Respond to government inquiries and maintain compliant recordkeeping.
  • Monitor export compliance (denied parties, embargoes, end‑use checks).
  • Serve as the Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Administrator for U.S. operations.
  • Provide compliance training and support global/regional projects.
YOUR BACKGROUND
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Customs Broker License (REQUIRED).
  • 7+ years of trade compliance experience in the pharmaceutical/life sciences industry.
  • Expert knowledge of U.S. Customs, FDA import rules, EAR, and Census regulations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
  • Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).
  • Background with Customs brokers or freight forwarders.
  • Experience with GTM systems (e.g., Tradeflow).
  • Experience managing LSPs or compliance consultants.
