Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. (AU) in the United States seeks a Sr. Principal International Trade Compliance Analyst to join the Global Trade organization, supporting the WIMS Business Unit and ensuring compliance with export laws and internal processes across programs.

The role requires ITAR/EAR expertise, ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance, and strong collaboration with Law, Program, and Supply Chain teams. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience applying ITAR and EAR; ability to determine jurisdiction and classification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance.
• Experience applying U.S. Government regulatory requirements in complex scenarios.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 10%).

Responsibilities

• Manage internal export/import controls to ensure compliance across international activities.
• Submit export/import licenses, permits, certifications, and release determinations.
• Execute gate reviews and maintain trade compliance records.
• Develop and deliver export training and update leadership on licensing strategy.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on regulations and procedures.
• Collaborate with Law, Program, and Operations to implement compliance across portfolios.
