Job summary

Boston Dynamics, Inc. is seeking a Global Trade Compliance Specialist to support our Logistics team in Waltham, MA. You will oversee international trade processes, ensure compliance with EAR, ITAR, OFAC, and related regulations, and collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing on HTS/ECCN classifications.

Responsibilities include licensing, DPS, recordkeeping, audits, FTZ management, and liaison with freight forwarders to secure compliant shipments of advanced robotics hardware and software.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in import/export trade compliance or related field.
• Direct experience using the ACE platform.
• Strong ability to assign ECCN and HTS classifications.
• Knowledge of EAR, ITAR, OFAC and dual-use rules.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory oversight of US/international trade compliance.
• DPS screening for partners, customers, vendors.
• Manage export licensing, documentation, and tracking.
• Lead trade audits and support regulatory audits.
• Oversee FTZ operations and reporting.
• Review contracts for compliance clauses and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with Eng/Manufacturing on HTS/ECCN designations.
• Use Salesforce and trade software to track workflows.
• Liaise with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
• Monitor global export controls and advise stakeholders.
• Prepare and file export/import declarations.
• Support EU compliance activities.
