Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of customs compliance, international transportation, or logistics operations.
• Licensed Customs Broker preferred; Certified Customs Specialist a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on import/export compliance and daily operational activities.
• Resolve daily import compliance and clearance issues with brokers and 3rd party logist.
• Communicate with government agencies regarding import compliance (CBP, FDA, EPA, FWS).
• Maintain permits/registrations related to import activities.
• Monitor CBP ACE portal and respond to information requests (CF 28/29).
• Support CTPTP participation and provide training on import/customs matters.
• Identify, qualify, implement, and operate strategic cost-saving initiatives (duty drawback, FTAs, duty suspension).
• Create/update/maintain customs compliance processes and procedures.
• Provide daily/ monthly/ quarterly reporting and KPI tracking.
• Back up Sr. Customs Manager and mentor team members.
• Participate in import compliance seminars and meetings.
