Maybell Quantum is seeking a Trade Compliance Manager/Senior Manager to own global trade compliance from Denver, with operations in Münster, Helsinki, and Singapore. You will decide classifications, licensing needs, and end‑user obligations, shaping a new internal program reporting to the President.

The role requires hands‑on BIS license experience, cross‑jurisdictional exposure, and the ability to build a multinational compliance function within a growing hardware company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in export controls or trade compliance with hands‑on licensing under the EAR.
• Experience filing and managing BIS licenses and end‑use considerations.
• Knowledge of deemed export rules and working in a multinational engineering setting.
• Background in hardware manufacturing with controlled products is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Classify products, components, software, and data under EAR and ECCNs and manage license determinations.
• Own the deemed export program and define access controls with IT and engineering leadership.
• Run restricted party screening, track licenses, and support export‑related contract terms.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure supplier compliance and contract commitments.
• Develop export compliance program materials, training, and internal governance.
