Job summary

Bunzl Distribution is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist to support daily international import/export operations. The role focuses on maintaining compliance through accurate documentation, HTS classification, and coordination with freight forwarders and brokers.

Ideal candidates will have a BS/BA or equivalent, at least 2 years in trade compliance, and strong communication skills. A company-wide benefits package and competitive salary are offered.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of trade compliance or international business experience.
• Familiarity with HTS classification, customs valuation, and country of origin determination.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review import and export documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Interface with freight forwarders, customs brokers and other trade compliance-related third-party service providers.
• Sustain the HTS classification program and maintain classification database.
• Manage recordkeeping and archiving of entry records.
• Oversee free trade agreement program management, including vendor certificate solicitations.
• Coordinate and transmit routing instructions to freight forwarders and brokers.
