Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in Rockford, IL seeks an Import Specialist for Global Specialty Logistics to ensure compliance with US customs and trade regulations. You will be the main NA import contact and help move clinical trial medicines and company materials across borders.

You will collaborate with Business Development, brokers, and project teams to identify depot strategies, permits, and required documents, while supporting audits and training across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 1–5 years related experience.
• Strong mathematical and analytical reasoning abilities.
• Proficient computer skills with ability to perform complex tasks.
• Professional fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as import contact for the Global Specialty Logistics team in North America.
• Maintain compliance with United States customs and other governing agencies.
• Support Business Development during quotation phase to identify depot strategy and permits.
• Assist clients via meetings and visits as subject matter expert for Import Requirements.
• Coordinate with contracted customs brokers to ensure proper entries and documentation.
• Support audits of global logistic providers and the Global Trade Compliance Ticket Log.
• Develop and deliver training on international topics for Project Management and Business Development teams.
