Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to manage global export/import compliance, including classification and licensing activities, in support of aviation training operations. The role collaborates with internal partners to ensure compliance with ITAR and EAR requirements and to maintain accurate jurisdiction records.

Ideal candidates bring knowledge of HTSUS/Schedule B, US export controls, and strong analytical and communication skills. A U.S.

Qualifications

• BS/BA and/or 2–5 years in a trade compliance role, hands-on ITAR/EAR exposure.
• Proven knowledge of ITAR and EAR, HTSUS and Schedule B and other controls.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance.
• US Citizenship required; licensed customs broker a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research and assign jurisdiction using ITAR or EAR for items.
• Classify imports/exports with tariff numbers using HTS/Schedule B.
• Maintain records of jurisdiction assignments and classifications.
• Collaborate with teams to communicate license controls (USML, CCL, etc.).
• Support licensing strategies and government declarations updates.
• Assist with audits and risk assessments in global trade compliance.
