Job summary

Sidley Austin LLP seeks an International Trade Analyst to support the Global Arbitration, Trade and Advocacy group. You will advise clients on international trade compliance, antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings, and related matters. Strong analytical skills and a broad knowledge of trade laws are essential.

The role involves preparing responses, Feasibility studies, and training clients on trade compliance, with a focus on AD/CVD and other trade remedy developments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with U.S. antidumping and CVD proceedings.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, notably Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct antidumping and CVD proceedings, including analysis and responses.
  • Support AD/CVD feasibility studies and petitions for domestic producers.
  • Assist clients in setting up monitoring systems to lower exposure.
  • Prepare and analyze databases and exhibits for proceedings.
  • Conduct research related to trade remedy developments.
