Job summary

Crowell & Moring LLP in New York is seeking an International Trade Analyst to support U.S. import regulatory matters, CBP administration and disputes, antidumping and countervailing duty investigations, and other related trade litigation.

The Analyst also provides administrative support to meet deadlines and maintain records. The role requires a Bachelor's Degree; familiarity with CBP processes, HTSUS, and trade remedies is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; customs broker license preferred.
• Experience with CBP import regulation, HTSUS, and classification.
• Familiarity with AD/CVD investigations and ITC proceedings.
• Ability to prepare filings, memos and client communications under deadlines.
• Strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with CBP filings and investigations.
• Prepare protests, petitions, detentions and other challenges.
• Draft responses to ITA/USITC inquiries and verifications.
• Support filing of documents with ITA and USITC.
• Monitor case developments and maintain electronic/paper files.
• Interact with clients, vendors and government agency staff.
