Job summary

Crowell & Moring LLP is seeking an International Trade Analyst to support the International Trade Group in U.S. import regulatory matters, including CBP actions, antidumping and countervailing duty investigations, and related enforcement matters.

The role emphasizes providing administrative support and meeting deadlines within established guidelines while delivering high-quality client service and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Experience with U.S. import regulation and CBP processes preferred.
• Knowledge of 19 CFR, HTSUS, Schedule B, and CBP entry procedures.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on import regulatory matters with CBP, including entry process, classification, valuation, origin, and free trade agreements.
• Prepare filings with CBP (protests, disclosures, petitions, detentions, seizures) and responses to investigations and audits.
• Assist with Commerce/ITC questionnaire responses and with filing documents to ITA and USITC.
• Draft case and rebuttal briefs for Commerce and ITC; prepare pre/post-hearing briefs.
• Monitor ITA/USITC case developments; maintain organized electronic/paper files.
• Interact with clients, vendors, and government agency employees under attorney direction.
