Job summary

Buckland, a global trade services provider, is seeking an Account Manager to deliver top-tier service to existing clients, assist onboarding, and collaborate with all departments. The role requires a Bachelor's in Business, CCS/LCB certifications, 5+ years in customs brokerage, and strong MS Office skills.

Travel may be required; excellent communication and problem-solving are essential. You will leverage CRM tools to track opportunities and ensure smooth transitions to Operations, while staying

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or diploma in Business or International Business.
• CCS or LCB designation is required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within the customs brokerage industry.
• MS Office proficiency including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be legally eligible to work for the Company at all times.
• Valid Passport and ability to travel occasionally to CAD/USA/MEX locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of customer service to existing clients and assist onboarding.
• Regularly visit clients to handle new account setup and follow up.
• Update and maintain client and product information on CRM to track opportunities.
• Coordinate with Operations to ensure smooth transition of accounts.
• Stay up to date with industry news and regulatory changes.
• Educate clients on industry standards and process changes.
• Maintain strong written and verbal communication with clients and internal teams.
• Utilize MS Office tools to support daily tasks.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized.
