Alltrista Plastics LLC is seeking a Tooling Engineer to collaborate with Sales and Engineering on part designs and mold solutions. You will specify tool designs, approve mold concepts, and lead supplier design reviews for awarded programs.

You will source qualified suppliers, coordinate quotes, and ensure FAT/IQ/OQ/PQ activities meet specifications, while driving tooling improvements and cost reductions. Up to 20% travel is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in plastics tooling engineering or management.
• Strong knowledge of mold design, machine specs, cavitation, cycle times.
• Experience with process capability studies and tooling cost reduction.

Responsabilidades

• Define tooling requirements with Sales and Engineering.
• Approve mold designs and lead design reviews with suppliers.
• Source qualified mold/machine suppliers and manage quotation flow.
• Oversee mold trials, FAT/IQ/OQ/PQ activities and vendor performance.
• Support accounts and program teams with technical expertise.
• Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
