Job summary

Google is seeking a senior Security Intelligence professional to assess risk across facilities, operations, and personnel, and to disseminate timely intelligence to stakeholders. You will build partnerships with Alphabet product teams and public sector counterparts to drive protective measures.

You will leverage open-source intelligence and AI tools to identify threats, continually refine processes, and ensure protection for Google’s people and assets around the world.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience leading security intelligence analysis and risk mitigation strategies.
  • 4 years of experience with close protection operations.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to assess data reliability, bias, and accuracy.
  • Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

  • Assess risk to Google facilities, operations, and personnel to inform security posture and resource allocation.
  • Evaluate, author, and disseminate accurate global intelligence to stakeholders.
  • Develop collaboration with key partners across Alphabet product areas and public sector counterparts.
  • Use open-source research to identify threats to Google's people, property, and ideas.
  • Develop and improve intelligence processes to prevent strategic surprises.

Job description

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience leading security intelligence analysis and risk mitigation strategies.
  • 4 years of experience with close protection (executive protection) operations.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to assess the reliability, bias, and accuracy of data and intelligence outputs.
  • Ability to work non-standard hours, including working weekends, night shifts, holidays and on shift-based schedules as required.
Preferred qualifications:
  • 6 years of experience in security risk analysis in a corporate, military, government, nonprofit environment.
  • 3 years of investigative experience in protective intelligence in a corporate, military, government, nonprofit environment.
  • Experience standing up and overseeing an Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) threat intelligence collection program, including in OSINT vendor oversight.
  • Experience supporting a close protection (executive protection) function in a tactical sense.
  • Ability to convey complex investigative findings clearly and concisely, tailoring communication for both technical and non-technical audiences, with little edits.

The Leadership Support Services Intelligence Team is a critical part of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS). The Leadership Support Services Intelligence Team informs critical protective operations with trusted and timely security risk analysis to enable Alphabet’s ability to thrive.

As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security, and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us identify, evaluate, and monitor security-related concerns toward the company’s most at risk employees, and directly inform critical protective measures around-the-clock. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness. From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $105000 - $151000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.

  • Use publicly available sources and advanced open-source research to identify and evaluate potential threats or concerns to Google’s people, property, and ideas.
  • Develop, maintain, and continually improve intelligence processes and programs to meet changing business requirements and prevent strategic surprise for business leaders.
