Job summary

Google's Leadership Support Services Intelligence Team is seeking an experienced security professional to lead intelligence analysis and risk mitigation for safeguarding Googlers and assets. The role collaborates with Facilities Management to develop strategies, investigate breaches, and plan future risk assessments, balancing security with customer service.

You will contribute to a culture where safety, security, and resiliency are integral to Google's operations, advising on enterprise risks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of security intelligence analysis and risk mitigation leadership.
• 4 years of experience in close protection operations.
• Experience using AI tools to assess data reliability and bias.
• Ability to work non-standard hours including weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk to Google facilities, operations and personnel across product areas to inform security posture and resource allocation.
• Evaluate, author, and disseminate accurate and timely global intelligence to stakeholders with clear risk communication.
• Develop collaboration with key partners across Alphabet product areas and public sector counterparts.
• Use open-source research to identify threats to Google's people, property and ideas.
• Maintain intelligence processes to meet changing business needs and prevent strategic surprise.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience leading security intelligence analysis and risk mitigation strategies.
• 4 years of experience with close protection (executive protection) operations.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to assess the reliability, bias, and accuracy of data and intelligence outputs.
• Ability to work non-standard hours, including working weekends, night shifts, holidays and on shift-based schedules as required.

Preferred qualifications

• 6 years of experience in security risk analysis in a corporate, military, government, nonprofit environment.
• 3 years of investigative experience in protective intelligence in a corporate, military, government, nonprofit environment.
• Experience standing up and overseeing an Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) threat intelligence collection program, including in OSINT vendor oversight.
• Experience supporting a close protection (executive protection) function in a tactical sense.
• Ability to convey complex investigative findings clearly and concisely, tailoring communication for both technical and non-technical audiences, with little edits.

The Leadership Support Services Intelligence Team is a critical part of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS). From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google’s GSRS team. The Leadership Support Services Intelligence Team informs critical protective operations with trusted and timely security risk analysis to enable Alphabet’s ability to thrive.

As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security, and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us identify, evaluate, and monitor security-related concerns toward the company’s most at risk employees, and directly inform critical protective measures around-the-clock. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

US: $105000 - $151000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
