Job summary

Google is seeking an Open Source Intelligence Specialist to identify and assess threats to people, property, and interests using OSINT. You will lead the end-to-end intelligence cycle from collection to dissemination to inform incident response and crisis management.

In this GSRS role, you’ll blend technical OSINT expertise with fast-paced operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement proactive risk mitigation and travel security strategies for Googlers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

As an Open Source Intelligence Specialist within the Sentinel Team, you will play a critical role in Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS). Your primary mission is to identify, research, and assess potential threats to Google’s people, property, and interests by leveraging open-source data.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end intelligence cycle, from collection to dissemination, ensuring that leadership receives timely and accurate insights to inform incident response, crisis management, and global travel security. In this role, you will require a blend of technical Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) expertise, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process.
