Job summary

Google is seeking a Lead, Threat Intelligence Analysis to own global security intelligence strategies and risk mitigation. You will drive data-driven insights, manage a multi-disciplinary team, and influence cross-functional stakeholders to protect Google’s assets and users.

You will define and implement programs across a global scope, collaborating with executives and technical teams to anticipate, deter, detect, and respond to complex security incidents, while aligning with business objectives

• 10+ years defining and building global security intelligence and risk mitigation strategies.
• 10+ years analyzing, interpreting, and drawing solutions from data for intelligence and risk.
• 5+ years in resource management including leading global teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain practices to assess and mitigate risks to company assets.
• Provide ongoing support for data users through reports, dashboards, and documentation.
• Lead a team, set and communicate priorities aligned to organizational goals.
• Engage stakeholders across Google/Alphabet to improve performance.
• Guide threat intelligence planning in support of Google’s broader goals.

Experience owning outcomes and decision making, solving ambiguous problems and influencing stakeholders; deep expertise in domain.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience defining and building global security intelligence and risk mitigation strategies.
• 10 years of experience analyzing, interpreting, and drawing solutions from data, as it relates intelligence and risk.
• 5 years of experience in resource management including defining organizational structures and managing global teams.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience managing global projects from conception to implementation.
• Experience managing and leveraging key relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
• Ability to solve for highly complex, ambiguous problems related to security intelligence, impacting end users at a global scale.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute practices to assess and mitigate risks to company assets, and collect, evaluate, and disseminate accurate and timely intelligence assessments to appropriate stakeholders to help inform decision-making in crises.
• Provide ongoing support for data users through maintenance of reports, queries, and dashboards, fielding user questions, authoring documentation, and delivering training.
• Lead a team of individuals, set and communicate team priorities that support organizational goals.
• Engage key stakeholders throughout Google/Alphabet enterprise to improve performance.
• Drive strategic planning of Threat Intelligence Analysis in support of broader Global Intel Google goals.
